BOOKING TERMS AND CONDITIONS

These Booking Terms constitute part of the contract between Tenant and Owner of the gite (Les Plaines) - Luc et Valérie Poulain, Devesset, France. Please read the following Terms carefully.

  1. The weekrent gite is Saturday/Saturday.
    Arrival time should be between 14.00 hrs till 17.00 hrs, departure between 10.00 hrs and 12.00 hrs.

  2. The Rental Contract becomes effective on receipt by the owners of 150 Euro of the total rental period fee.The balance must be received at ariival when handing-over the the keys.


  3. A deposit of 300 Euro is required on arrival. This amount will be returned on the day of departure should no irregularities be found in the gite.

  4. In the event of premature cancellation, the 150 euro deposit will be forfeit.
  5. The Owners accept no responsibility for the consequence of any accidents occurring within or near the gite (to persons of any age).
  6. The Tenants are wholly responsible for any damage and should report this to the Owners immediately. The Owners have right of access at any time within reason for maintenance, gardening and cleaning.
  7. The gite is fully furnished, and equipped. The owner or its representative will be entitled to claim, the total value of missing or broken, furniture and/or household effects ( that at departure appear deteriorated, broken/burst or scratched)
    Also compensation is demanded if cleaning of the quilts is necessary when they are made dirty, this also applies to deteriorations of each nature concerning the curtains, windows, bedclothes, etc.

  8. The Owners have the right to expel the Tenants from the premises should the property be deliberately damaged or misused, or as a result of local residents complaints. The Owners reserve the right, without reimbursement, to cancel a booking term, should the number of tenants be more than the agreed number. Changes to the original contract are only permitted with the Owners' consent.

  9. The Owners' assume that Tenant are covered by travel and cancellation Insurance or be prepared to cover any risk of cancellation costs personally.
    The Tenants should also be insured for personal liability costs.


  10. On reservation of quads,a deposit of 1000 Euro is required.
